A graduate of The Lir Academy, Marty has worked with as an actor with Gate Theatre, Lyric Theatre, National Theatre, Playwright Studio Scotland, Rough Magic, Royal Shakespeare Company, Fishamble, Dead Centre, Abbey Theatre, Prime Cut, MGM, Disney+, FX, RTÉ, Two Cities, BBC, Treasure, Eclipse Pictures, Samson Films, Netflix, Lionsgate and CBS.

Marty’s first play, BITCH, is an award-winning theatre-cabaret drag performance that is set for touring dates in late 2026.

She is the winner of the Romilly Walton Masters Award for experimental theatremaking 2025 (with the Centre Culturel Irlandais and Dublin Fringe), the Radical Spirit of Fringe commissioning award 2024 (Project Arts Centre), an Arts Council Next Generation Award recipient 2023, and an Axis Theatre Assemble artist.
