A graduate of The Lir Academy, Marty has worked with Gate Theatre, Lyric Theatre Belfast, National Theatre UK, Playwright Studio Scotland, Rough Magic, Fishamble, Dead Centre, Abbey Theatre and Prime Cut, and networks MGM, Disney+, FX, RTÉ, Two Cities, BBC, Treasure Entertainment, Eclipse Pictures, Samson Films, Netflix and CBS.

Marty’s first play, BITCH, is an award-winning theatre-cabaret drag performance that is set for touring dates in late 2025.

She is the recipient of the Romilly Walton Masters Award for experimental theatremaking 2025 with the Centre Culturel Irlandais and Dublin Fringe, the Radical Spirit of Fringe commissioning award 2024, an Arts Council Next Generation Award recipient 2023, and an Axis Assemble artist.
